    Dizzy? Man, you still out there? Your blog hasn't been updated in a while and, y'know, that's a cryin shame because I know you know so much about the real jazz music, it would be so nice if you could lay down some advice to those of us with asperations of following. Like, just for instance, in an F-major blues, where's it come in that you could start off on an F#m7/B7? How does that get in there? Or take Ornette's "the Blessing" -- how does he get to F#m7 without a half-dim b5 on that? Or ...

    I've heard your stuff, I know you know circles around what they teach for 'jazz' in the schools; would be so nice to just get a little slice of that preserved here on Blogger for the kids to come.
